Got a little bit crafty

Well hi blogger, this week has been a good work week, but not great on the weight watchy things, just totally caved Wednesday due to stress with things beyond my control. I will learn to sort this bad habit out one day, but I did get right back on it today.

I am quite amazed I seem to have managed some paper craft of a sort this week. I love office supplies lol! I am always buying notebooks for this and that, and found I wanted to try planners, but I wanted to record, ww smart points, activity, meal plans, bill paying, birthdays and so much more. As you can imagine finding a planner to do this would be a nightmare. So I got to thinking of making something and was browsing you tube like you do and I saw the " me and my big ideas - happy planner system", I liked it but not the styles and colours, then a trip to staples, I discovered the punch and plastic discs to be able to make my own. If you are interested it is called the arc system, they do do inserts as well but I wanted my creative spin on it.

Any who I took some pics, hope you like, I have to say, it's no where near finished, as I have so much more I want to put in it.

Wednesday 13th January 2016

Well good morning blog.

I am feeling quite positive today, Have had an interesting lecture/ course in work this week on Behaviour that challenges services, all about the effects of Dementia and the behaviour it brings about.

I really found it interesting and learnt quite a bit not only about myself but others too.

Today we return to college for our first assignment after the winter break, as last week was a catch up session. I am okay doing the college stuff but admit I would rather go in get the assignment and do it at home, I struggle with concentration when I have to work in a room full of chattering. I like to go in get it done and get home.

Today I am also feeling better as I have decided to get back to WW and the new SP's system. I am not good with too much sugar in my system makes me sluggish and tired,

 Just need to remember not to get too caught up in the exercise that it takes over my life.

Day one was yesterday, and It was quite easy to follow. Hopefully look into it more tonight.

I am enjoying Wintercamp Knitting over on ravelry, Getting some gift knitting done for next Christmas LOL!! will post pics later.

Hello blog, today I am trying to set myself up for a positive January, with everything going on re hubby that is not as easy at it would appear.

So today I have tracked every thing I am eating, I am going to try and lose the little bit of weight I have put back on without re-joining WW. ( I get a little bit miffed to be honest that every couple of years they tweak the plan and with every tweak they make sure all the old apps, scales and tools need to be replaced which costs its members financially. I know they are a business but really, they need a serious talking too, about looking after their customers a bit better. I also feel gold members are ignored as they are no longer Cash cows - excuse the terminology).

I even managed week 3 run 1 of C25K and hence the oomph title. Flippin heck I did not enjoy it, I felt heavy and lumpy, a far cry from 2 years ago when I loved the lightness I enjoyed whilst running.

I have also defuzzed the slight forest that had appeared on my legs through the winter months - self neglect breeds in all areas - when I cannot be assed.

I even tinted and plucked my eyebrows myself - First time ever for me. I work with a few younger girls and they were talking about going to salons and having beauty done. I am just not that kind of person but, 5 years off of a big birthday maybe I need a little bit of help now!

I am now going to relax and maybe do a bit of knitting. So bye for now x

Well hello dear blog, I did forget all about you I am not going to lie.

I am so glad 2015 is over, it finished far worse than we could have imagined.

So hello 2016!!!

A whole shiny New Year.

No resolutions, no grand statements.

I am taking each day at a time,

 I do aim to get my eating back under control ( oops, who ate all the pies, puddings, crisps, chocolate and so on for the last 8 months).  I have 2 Stone to shift again.

I do aim to get my fitness back to at least walking the dog a couple of times a week and hopefully the odd long walk, or shhhh!!! dare I say it a run outside or in.

I have other things I would like to do with this year, will talk more dear blog should I do them, as I tend to post here and then forget all about my good intentions.

So I have a long shift today 7am - 8pm

And I am being accountable for what I eat. Chat soon. xx
