Crafters Companion Challenge 13

OH WOW!!!  What a couple of months I have had.

I have been fit to burst with excitement!!

I was very honoured to be asked by the Crafters Companion Gals to join their demonstration and design team.

And then Along Came the launch of Humphrey, excitment was too, too much to bare.

But he is here at last and we all our safe with the lovely rubberness in our mits.

Back to the Challenge.

This month the theme is Summer Holidays, and when I first saw those cute images of the two little Elephants sharing an ice cream sundae, it evoked images of My gran collins and I on our very first Butlins Holiday in Minehead Somerset, sharing a Knickerbockerglory in a beach side cafe.

OH such special memories I was about 10, (41 tomorrow) and gran is no longer with us.
Thanks Crafters companion for that lovely trip down memory lane.

So here's my card.

Two little elephants sharing a sundae in a beach cafe window.

I stamped onto watercolour card, used my water colour pencils to colour, cut out the whole image with my craft knife and stuck to my dome recessed aperture card (I promise I will try to do a tutorial for it SOON!!)

Used Kanban cardstock, flower buttons and pink pearls.

see the rest of the DT stunning work and try your luck!!

Thanks for stopping by,
hugs
